#belonging

‘No one belongs here more than you’.  If your child is in Year 5 or Year 6 and you live in Ollerton and the surrounding villages, visit us to find out more about the highly successful Academy at the heart of your community.

This is where you will find all the information you need for starting here at The Dukeries Academy in September 2024.

Please check regularly for updates and follow us on our social media channels: @DukeriesAcademy on Twitter and @dukeriesacademynews on Facebook.

Our annual Transition Booklet will be shared with you, detailing all key information for Transition. This will include plans for Transition Week in the first week in July.

Senior Leaders from the Academy will visit feeder primaries, share our Academy video, present to pupils and answer any questions they might have.

Transition for pupils with Special Education Needs (SEND) or those requiring any other bespoke support will begin first, ensuring the maximum possible time for the Academy to plan effectively for success.

Pupils will be invited to Transition Week, which will involve time in the Academy learning and experiencing The Bridge, as well as an off-site activity.

Parents will attend Transition Evening, where they can seek further clarification, advice or support.

We are currently updating our Transition materials and they will be available here by 3 June 2024.

In the meantime, if you have any queries, or require any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us using this link where a member of our Administrative and Support Team will help you: Contact Us
